FLUSHING, N.Y – The City University of New York Athletic Conference in partner with the Hospital for Special Surgery have named a trio of Hawks CUNYAC All-Stars.
Junior Yevgeny Pereplov was the lone First Team All-Star while senior
Arthur Kapetanakis and freshman
Damen Ellingson each earned a slot on the Second Team.
The major year end awards went to Guy Goren (Player of the Year) and Joe Laskowski (Rookie of the Year) from Baruch while their coach, Florin Giuglescu was voted Coach of the Year. Ayman Busat from York was awarded the Sportsmanship Award.
The 2012 CUNYAC/HSS Tennis Championship featuring Hunter College and Baruch College is slated to get underway this Thursday, May 3rd at 5pm.
