Flushing, NY - Hunter men's tennis team cruised to their first win of the season downing Rutgers-Newark, 7-2 on March 27^th. The Hawks swept the doubles competition winning each match.
 
The duo of David Joseph and Damen Ellingson competed in No.1 doubles and took down Rutgers-Newark's Postadan and Kim 8-6. Hunter's Daniel Rabinovich teamed up with Binh Luu for an 8-4 win in the No.2 doubles over Mandania and Rizk. The No.3 team of Bilal Naeem and Nick Deuz won be default as the Hawks swept the doubles competition 3-0.
 
After picking up their first win of the season, Hunter (1-2) will travel to Springfield, MA on Thursday, March 28^th to go against Springfield College at 4:00 p.m.
