Springfield, MA – The men's tennis team at Hunter College fell on the road to Springfield College, 9-0 on Thursday, March 28^th.
 
Springfield controlled the momentum of their matchup with Hunter by sweeping the doubles and singles competitions at the Appleton Courts in Springfield, MA.
 
The Hawks No.2 doubles team of Paul Saint-Sonat and Daniel Rabinovich battled their opponents to an 8-6 lost. In singles, Hunter's No. 3 Daniel Rabinovich put up a valiant effort but also lost (7-5, 6-4) to Springfield's Joe Giannelli. Hunter failed to score a point and were shutout by Springfield 9-0.
 
Hunter (1-3) will travel to Mahwah, NJ on Saturday, March 30^th for a 1:00 p.m. game against Ramapo College.
