Indianapolis, IN – The CUNYAC Women's Tennis Champions Hunter Hawks, received an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships and will take on the Elizabethtown Blue Jays at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10^th at Williams College in Williamstown, MA announced by the NCAA on May 6^th .
 
Hunter will play a single-elimination tournament with the first, second, and third rounds played at Williams College, May 10-12. Kalamazoo College will host the team championship finals, which will be held May 20-22. Student-athletes selected to an individual championships will be announced Wednesday, May 8^th.
 
The Hawks are paired up with Elizabethtown (16-3), Ithaca (15-5), Colby-Sawyer (18-4), Tufts (8-9), and host Williams (18-4) in their bracket. Hunter advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in the last two seasons. Last year, Hunter defeated Penn-State Behrend in the first round before falling to John Hopkins in the second round.
 
The Hawks won their 13^th straight CUNYAC title last October defeating the College of Staten Island 5-1. Hunter finished the season as regular season champions with a record of 12-3, 7-1 CUNYAC record. Their opponent, Elizabethtown just won their fourth straight Commonwealth Conference Championship this past weekend defeating Lebanon Valley 5-1. It will mark the first meeting between the Hawks and Blue Jays.
