Bronx, N.Y. - Hunter College finished in second-place at the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship race on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park. This is the third-straight year the Hawks have placed second out of the eight conference teams.
The Hawks had four runners finish in the top-15 in the race, led by the efforts of
Kyle Harris. Harris took sixth-place overall and recorded a time of 29:18.2 for his second-best mark of the season.
Jeffry Guerrero placed second for Hunter and eighth overall, posting a time of 29:59.6 for a season best time.
Christhofer Castro followed in 13th-place (30:50) and
Griffin Kearney cracked the top-15 with a time of 31:10.9.
The Purple and Gold totaled 76 points to follow first-place CCNY.
