West Long Branch, NJ – The men's track and field team competed in the Monmouth University Winter Collegiate Invitational over the weekend. The contingent registered a total of three top-30 finishes.
Matthew Lau was Hunter's top finisher after turning in a performance of 10.06 in the 60H to earn 15
th place overall. He also leaped out to a mark of 5.36m in the long jump to claim 31
st place. Fellow long jumper,
Moussa Fares was close behind in 35
th place and a mark of 4.09m. Another standout performance came from
Robert Novo in the 800m; he finished in 26
th overall and recorded a time of 2:08.03.
The 4x400m relay team comprised of Novo,
Felix Wong,
Crosve Lucero and Salah Alhudais turned in a 10
th place finish after stopping the clock at 3:51.00.
The Hawks return to action on Sunday, February 20 when they compete at the Princeton Indoor Invitational.
