West Long Branch, NJ – The women's track and field team competed in the Monmouth University Winter Collegiate Invitational over the weekend. The contingent of 10 registered a total of six top-30 finishes.
Annabel Gregg was Hunter's top finisher after traversing the 3,000m race in a time of 11:52.13 which was good enough for 16
th place overall. The time is a personal best and tops in the conference so far this season by well over a minute.
Hilary Pham was the only other Hawk to finish in the top-20. In the 60 Hurdles, she stopped the clock with a time of 15.34 which was good enough for 18
th Place. Both
Helen Dai and
Rebecca McClain also fared well. Dai was 33
rd and 23
rd in the 200m and 400m respectively while McClain's heave of 9.97m earned her a 25
th place showing; a mark that is also a league best.
The Hawks return to action on Sunday, February 20 when they compete at the Princeton Indoor Invitational.
