Princeton, NJ - The women's track and field team competed in the Princeton indoor invitational this weekend; their final meet before the conference championships next weekend. The Hawks register nine top-15 finishes which included a big showing in the 800 m run with four finishing in the top-10.
Taylor McClay posted the best finish on the day and finished third overall with a time for 2:40.01 in 800. Behind her was Annabel Gregg in 2:53.28 which was good enough for 8th while Helen Dai and Marissa Cronin rounded out the contingent, finishing in 9th and 10th respectively.
Gregg also shined in the mile, finishing 6th overall after stopping the clock at 5:44.80. In the field events, Alexandra Lenz finished 8th in both the shot put and weight throw.
The relay team comprised of Atziry Carabajo, Gregg, McClay and Leah Guan combined for a time Of 5:14.58 to earn 5th.
