Maya is a Sociology major and double minor in Political Science and Political Theory. She wants to be a lawyer or work for the UN. She is also a part of the Youth Democratic Socialist Association and help immigrant families in town during a clinical social work internship. Some of her hobbies are playing the cello and gardening. One fun fact about her is that her left thumb is double jointed. She also has two cats named Binx and Mr.Kat. Her favorite professional athlete is Jude Bellingham .
